- 'jambalaya risotto' tonight for dinner
- saute pepper flakes, saffron, celery, carrots, onion, red bell pepper, and garlic. Add 1 c rice, stir until opaque. Add broth 1 c @ a time
- Simmer until liquid evaporates, add more. Add sliced sausage (I used chicken/red pepper) and peeled raw shrimp. Cook till rice moist & done.
- I added 1 Tbsp butter to the risotto at the last minute for more flavor.
